The foreign ministers of the United States and Ukraine, Anthony Blinken and Dmytro Kuleba, spoke by phone on Wednesday about strengthening the defense of Ukrainian skies. According to the State Department, the two discussed, among other things, “solutions to increase resilience and energy security” in Ukraine ahead of winter. Blinken expressed support for Ukraine’s reforms aimed at bringing it closer to EU and NATO membership.
