After three of Saturday’s seventh games, the exciting Stanley Cup 2022 playoffs continue on Sunday with another pair of games to win or go home. These last two games will end the second round, making it a TV hockey fan.
The Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers open Sunday at 7 p.m. at Madison Square Garden and on TBS. Pittsburgh had New York on the ropes early on, winning three of its four games and scoring seven goals in each of its last two games. To close out the first round, the Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames will battle at Scotiabank Saddledome at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN2 and on fuboTV (Try for free). The streak has been a goalkeeping show so far, with Dallas’ Jake Oettinger second in savings in this playoff while Calgary’s Jacob Markstrom is second in goals-to-average. A win for the Stars would send them into the second round for the first time since the Stanley Cup Finals in 2020, and Calgary will be seeking to win their first playoff series since 2015.
