Fast track visa for IT professionals and their families, funding for start-ups. The “Poland. Commercial Port” project was launched in September 2020. It is addressed to Belarusians, citizens of Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Armenia and Russia.
As “Rzeczpospolita” found, visas were also issued to citizens of several dozen countries outside the above list – including: India, Iran, Korea, Japan, Azerbaijan. I don’t know where they are now. According to data obtained by the newspaper from the Border Guard Headquarters, only about 13.5 thousand people have entered Poland on “PBH” visa since 2020. Foreigners, i.e. every seventh person with a special Polish visa.

The visas that IT professionals receive are national visas and they are entitled to work only in Poland. So what happened to the 80,000? Foreigners?
– Since experts do not come to Poland, they are not Polish residents and do not pay taxes in our country. Perhaps, for example, Belarusian companies that have moved to Poland use specialists, but they themselves work remotely?
