2022 St Jude Championship: Live updates, full coverage, golf results for Round 4 on Sunday

JJ Spaun will attempt to move to Wire in the St. Jude, as he heads into the final round by one stroke at 13-under. After losing his edge early in the third round, the Texas Open winner held out throughout Saturday’s game and ultimately maintained a margin of victory over Austrian Sepp Straka.

The two will be paired together again on Sunday, where they will battle not only each other but also a host of star-studded stalkers.

Cameron Smith finished fast and made a birdie on two of the last three holes to propel his name to the front page of the leaderboard at 11 under. Joining him in that number is Will Zalatores, who rebounded in rounds 63-65 after the opening with a score of 1 over 71.

A few hits later appeared US Open winner Matt Fitzpatrick, four-time PGA Tour winner Sam Burns, and Tony Fino, who reached the playoffs after winning his last two tournaments.

Combine the drama at the top of the leaderboard with plays in the FedEx Cup Qualifiers and Sunday should be action packed. Many players will try to climb into the top 70 of the standings and thus get their tickets for next week’s BMW Championship at Wilmington Country Club.

Keep it closed here as CBS Sports will be tracking it all with live updates and analysis throughout Round 4 of the 2022 St Jude Championship on Saturday.
