An article on the newly discovered effects of Covid-19 was published in the scientific journal The Lancet. It is titled “Neurological and psychiatric risk trajectories following SARS-CoV-2 infection: analysis of 2-year retrospective cohort studies in 1,284,437 patients.” Its authors are many scientists and doctors.
Covid-19 – Complications. These are the effects of the impact of the corona virus
According to the article, recovering from Covid-19 struggles with mental and neurological problems. They may experience side effects from contracting the coronavirus for up to two years after recovering from the illness, but usually last for weeks to months.
Scientists have yet to successfully investigate how long survivors are exposed to these types of COVID-19 effects. They also failed to distinguish whether the body’s response differed depending on the age of the person previously infected with the coronavirus or the variant identified.

During the study, 1,284,437 patient cases were analyzed. For this purpose, international medical registries of COVID-19 recoveries were used. Most of them lived in the United States, but there were also people from Australia, Great Britain, Spain, Bulgaria, India, Malaysia and Taiwan. From January 20, 2020 to April 13, 2022, the coronavirus was detected in their bodies.
The results of the study on the recovered subjects were analyzed for the incidence of 14 psychiatric or neurological disorders. In this way, links were found between an earlier covid-19 transition and a higher incidence of mood and anxiety disorders.
