Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced to the UN Security Council on Wednesday that the Russians attacked the train station and fired missiles at the trains. On Wednesday, Ukraine’s Independence Day, Ukrainian media reported late in the afternoon that Russian troops had attacked several regions, including Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia. In this way, Russia is preparing for this UN meeting, Zelensky added.

Two hours later, he reported that at least 15 people were killed and 50 wounded in a Russian missile attack on the Czaplin train station in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He further informed that four vehicles were set on fire.

After 10 p.m., he announced the total death toll at 22.

“The Russians must immediately stop the nuclear threat and completely withdraw from the area of ​​this plant,” the Ukrainian leader said.

He also stressed that “the Russian port blockade in the Sea of ​​Azov has already disrupted the food market.” – But let’s remember one more aspect, the energy aspect – he continued. He pointed out that “Russia is also deliberately trying to reduce access to electricity” and “continues to use its veto right at the United Nations”.
