Cambridge is a suburb outside Boston and home to Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Beatrice de Jong, an expert on consumer trends at Opendoor, told CNBC Make It that Cambridge tops the list because it is a walkable city where families can enjoy a fun day out.
“Cambridge provides families with plenty of restaurants, cafes and a farmers market all year round, which is an ideal way to fill up on weekends,” she said.
