Law enforcement sources, and several witnesses, tell us that the fatal accident occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m….that’s when cops got a call of a man who had been shot at a bowling alley called 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston.
We were told Takeoff and Quavo They were playing dice when a quarrel broke out, and that’s when someone shot, and Takeoff was shot…either in the head or near his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
TMZ Hip Hop got footage of the scene, and you can watch Quavo—in an orange shirt—and others gather around Takeoff. At first they tried to move him, but then he put him back down, and Quavo shouted for someone to get help.
The police tell us that two other people were shot and taken to hospital in private cars. It is unclear what their circumstances are. Quavo was not hurt.
Just two hours before the shooting, Takeoff posted a selfie from the bowling alley. Quavo had posted a video earlier in the night, driving around Houston with him Gus Princewho was celebrating his birthday.
Takeoff, who is the real name Kreshnik Kharry Ball, was the youngest member of Migos. Quavo was uncle and replace Cousin.
Together as a group in 2008 in Georgia, they became multi-platinum hit makers…they dropped their first major hit, “Versace,” in 2013. They would hit #1 on Billboard in 2016 with “Bad and Boujee.”
Recently, Quavo and Offset released a project by the name of the duo, Unc & Phew. They had just released their latest music video, “Messy,” on Monday.
