Goodman, who has been a part of the reality quiz series ever since Initially, he announced during the semi-finals on Monday that he would be stepping down after the current 31st cycle.
“I’ve been with the show since it started in 2005, and it’s been a pleasure to be a part of such an amazing show,” Goodman shared to a standing ovation from the studio audience. “But I have decided to spend more time with my grandchildren and my family in Britain. I cannot thank you enough, my country Dancing with the stars family. Goodman has served danceChairman of the jury since the first season and participated in all but two seasons during the show’s 17-year run, having missed seasons 21 and 29. In addition to the main teams Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, who were also with dance Since its inception, Goodman has been joined on the catwalk by siblings and choreographers Julianne Hough and Derek Hough.
