The ‘Christmas Story’ homeowner snaps the actor from a movie taking pictures outside with fans

The house from the 1983 movie “A Christmas Story” is up for sale and has attracted a lot of like-minded people, including an actor from the movie, Yano Anaya, who drew a very serious wrath from the homeowner when he was caught taking pictures with fans on the property.

in Video obtained by TMZ Filmed on November 15, Anaya, who plays Grover in the movie, can be seen taking pictures with what appear to be movie fans outside on the steps of the home’s porch. Suddenly, the owner – who is said to be named Brian Jones – yells at Anaya, telling him to leave pronto.

“Get off my house now! Get the f–k out of here. I’m not kidding,” Jones is heard shouting in the footage. Anaya, looking confused, begins to step aside, but Jones continues to scream. “Beat it! Get the f-k out. Go away now! Get off my property—don’t ever come here again. Never again. Leave now, I’m serious,” Jones ordered, drawing closer to Anaya. As he walks away, Anaya appears to be trying to reason with Jones, who calls Anaya a “trickster”.

In another segment of the incident, Jones was talking to another person, saying, “Do you know what this guy is doing? You have no idea what a fraud he is, and what a loser this guy is.” Anaya asked Jones to tell him why he was called that.

“Why don’t you talk to me about it so we can fix it?” Anaya asked, but the video ended with Jones leaving.

According to TMZ, Anayo and some of his “A Christmas Story” castmates were interested in buying the house after it was put up for sale. Anayo’s business partner, Emmanuel Soba, says they were totally blown away by the Jones bombing because they had a positive phone conversation with Jones about a possible home purchase the day before the accident.

In an apology, Jones claimed he was concerned “fans could be misled into contributing to a GoFundMe campaign that would not result in a home purchase.”

“I have no affiliation with any GoFundMe campaign. I’m not selling the home through Go Fund Me, so fans shouldn’t be contributing to this fund under false pretenses, thinking their money will go toward purchasing the home,” Jones told TMZ. “I only enjoy entertaining offers from qualified buyers through my real estate broker.”

A GoFundMe was set up by a volunteer member of Anaya’s group to raise money for the home purchase, but this page is inactive.
