The United States, China, Great Britain and France have joined the UN. Russia, one of the five permanent members of the Security Council, assumed the presidency on Saturday.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, he reminded that the Russian presence in the UN Security Council and in the UN in general is illegal.
Since February 2022, the start of the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine, officials in Kiev have repeatedly questioned Russia’s right to sit on the council.
Russia assumed the presidency of the UN Security Council

“This is one of the hundreds of Russian artillery attacks that the terrorist state carries out every day. At the same time, Russia heads the UN Security Council, Zelensky noted. “It is difficult to imagine anything that proves the complete bankruptcy of such companies,” he added.
