Margot Robbie nailed Barbie-chic on Tuesday when she promoted her highly anticipated new movie with co-star Ryan Gosling and director Greta Gerwig at CinemaCon.

The 32-year-old Australian actress wowed at the event in her little pink outfit that showed off her incredibly fit physique.

Margot posed for a photo with co-star Ryan, 42, who will play a doll version of Ken in the bizarre new movie.

Paying homage to the film’s director – Ryan opens up his hot pink jacket to reveal a white shirt with Greta Gerwig’s name written in classic Barbie script.

The duo were joined by director Greta, Margot’s husband, producer Tom Ackerley, America Ferrera’s Ugly Better star, and producer David Heyman at the ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Although Greta, 39, was photographed directing the movie in a setting that’s all dressed in pink, when it came to CinemaCon, she decided to dress more formally.

Gathering on the second day of CinemaCon, the group paused for photos to promote the upcoming project — due for release July 21, 2023.

After the first initial teaser homage to Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, fans have now been given a proper look at the dazzling world of Barbieland.

In what appears to be a fish-out-of-water comedy, Margot’s Barbie is seen having fun with Ryan Ken in a very real world inspired by Barbie – called Barbie Land – where there are many iterations of the famous dolls. .

Playing on a quirky premise of what Mattel dolls would be up to if left to their own devices, the teaser features a comedic scene between Ryan and Margot about spending the night together.

“I thought I might stay here tonight,” Ken asks Ryan Barbie. ‘to do what?’ She replies innocently.

Will Ferrell is also seen playing the CEO of a toy company because he somehow brings his characters to life, welcoming them to civilization.

The film is based on Mattel’s doll fashion collection, with Mattel CEO Yinon Kreese saying the company expects continued growth in the Barbie product, adding, “We couldn’t be more excited about Barbie’s long-term prospects.”

She previously spoke about turning the iconic Barbie doll into a movie, telling British Vogue in 2021: “It comes with a lot of baggage!”

And a lot of nostalgic connections. But with that comes a lot of interesting ways to attack it.

“People generally hear ‘Barbie’ and think, ‘I know what this movie is going to be like,’ and then they hear Greta Gerwig writing and directing it, and they’re like, ‘Oh, well, maybe I don’t…'”
