He may have just turned 81, but Harrison Ford has no intention of leaving the acting profession anytime soon.
The actor spoke out while promoting the song Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny CNN’s Chris Wallace who asked Ford if he was going to retire.
The actor dismissed the possibility, saying, “I don’t do well when I don’t have a job. I like to work… I like to feel useful. It’s Jones. I want to be useful.”
Then he asked him what he liked most about acting, to which the star replied that it was the other people she would be working with:
“The intensity and intimacy of the collaboration…is the shared aspiration, fashioned somehow from the words on the page. I don’t plan what I want to do in a scene, I don’t feel compelled to do anything but I am naturally influenced by the things I’m working on.”
While the actor has no intention of stopping acting anytime soon, Ford will certainly be retiring from playing Indiana Jones with his soon-to-be-released entry marking one last outing in the role.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny hits theaters on June 30.
