Dakota Johnson looks ravishing in denim while mingling with Ethan Hawke, his daughter Maya, and Laura Linney during the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado



The 50th Annual Telluride Film Festival kicked off in Telluride, Colorado, on Thursday and runs through Monday, September 1.

Among the big stars at the ceremony: Dakota Johnsonwho was allowed to attend and promote her new movie Daddio with co-star Sean Penn due to a temporary agreement with SAG-AFTRA.

On Saturday, Johnson was seen hanging out with some of the cast and crew of the new film Wildcat, which was co-written and directed by actor Ethan Hawke.

Johnson, wearing a stylish denim jacket, sat on the grass with Hawke, his daughter Maya Hawke and Ozark star Laura Linney.

The 50 Shades Of Gray actress, 33, layered her outerwear over a loose pink button-up shirt that she tied at the bottom to show off her waistline.

Her long brown hair was styled in an easy half-up, half-down style and she wore designer sunglasses.

To add extra glam, Johnson wore a pair of shiny gold earrings and a glossy pink lip.

While lounging on the grass, Johnson chatted with Maya, who showed off her quirky fashion sense in an oversized striped T-shirt and baggy jeans.

Maya, 25 – who Ethan shares with ex-wife and fellow actress Uma Thurman – plays the lead role of Flannery O’Connor in Wildcat, a biopic about the American novelist and her struggle to publish her first book.

Meanwhile, Lenny, 59, looked all smiles as he wore dark blue jeans and a green and black striped shirt underneath a black puffer coat.

In keeping with her laid-back mood, the Savages star also wore a Telluride Film Festival baseball cap over her long blonde locks.

Ethan also looked to be in a playful mood as he wore an all-denim outfit.

Over the years, the Reality Bites star has made sure to showcase his skills behind the camera, both as a director and a writer.

In the past he has directed the feature films Chelsea Walls (2001), The Hottest Country (2006), and Blaze (2018) as well as the documentary Seymour: An Introduction (2014).

He also has writing credits for Before Sunset (2004), The Hottest Case (2006), Before Midnight (2013) and Blaze (2018).

Hawke co-wrote the screenplay for Wildcat with Shelby Gaines, also known for his work as a musician and composer.

Following its world premiere at TFF, Hawke will next screen the film at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11.

As of now there is no official word on when it will be widely released.
