Israel has been fighting for the seventh day since the armed attack by Hamas. According to the findings of a CNN journalist investigation, the group apparently trained to launch an attack less than a mile from the Israeli border. Israel’s Foreign Ministry and National Security Council warned the country’s citizens abroad of a “day of wrath.” Hamas has called on its supporters around the world to organize protests, which Israeli security services say could also mean attacks on Jews.

> According to a CNN investigation, Hamas was openly training for a terrorist attack on Israel less than a mile from its border. The investigation examined nearly two years of training and propaganda videos released by Hamas and its affiliates and found that the militants trained for attacks in at least six locations in the Gaza Strip.

> Hamas has appealed to international humanitarian organizations to provide much-needed medical and humanitarian supplies to Gaza, as Israel continues to carry out airstrikes on the territory, CNN reported. According to Gaza medical officials, at least 1,537 people have been killed since Israel began attacking Gaza, including 500 children and 267 women. Israel carried out the attack in response to a brutal attack by Hamas last Saturday.
