An unidentified man threw firecrackers at the 31-year-old and her friend while the couple were talking outside a bar on Weisselstrasse on Monday evening. According to initial reports, the suspect spoke Arabic. Neither the woman nor the man with her was hit or injured.
The portal also reports on an incident in front of the town hall in the Tiergarten district, where the caretaker hung an Israeli flag. During the operation, the man was humiliated by a group of unidentified youths. The witness then observed two people trying to tear the flag from the pole. This caused damage to it.
A similar incident occurred over the weekend on Karl-Marx-Strasse in Neukoelln. On Saturday, security service personnel noticed a torn Israeli flag in front of the district’s town hall.
