The land is not in its best condition Starfield. Without atmosphere, our house turned into an endless desert. It’s shocking to see. For some reason, each of these bleak locations has one souvenir snow globe for you to collect. cheery! (There are two snow globes you can collect from the Moon and Mars as well.)
Finding the Earth’s past features, and thus its snowballs, takes some work. Every snow globe except one has an associated book that you must find first, which will give you the necessary coordinates. Then, all you have to do is head to the ground, land at the designated location, and enjoy the views (and watch for snowballs).
However, since some of these books are only found during parts of specific quests, Progressing through some quest lines may make some snowballs inaccessible. Specifically, the ideal candidate for a Snowball Hunter is someone who has not made it far in the Crimson Fleet faction mission or the First Contact mission, and who has not yet completed the main quest “Unearthed.” Additionally, if you are in the New Game+ launch phase and choose to skip the main quest, you may not be able to obtain all of the triggered snowballs, as some are located in specific quest areas.

Finally, it may be possible to find books of different Snow Globe landmarks in different locations than we document here, but all of the following locations are confirmed.
US Bank Tower, Los Angeles, California, Ground
Let’s start with a monument to capitalism in what’s left of Los Angeles. To find the famous Bank of the United States Tower (or, if you want some triple-headed heads, Maybe it is JTAMaze Tower?) Head to Hopetown on the planet Polvo in the Valo system. Go to Ron Hope’s office and steal the book bearing his title Hope family tree From his office. This is actually a robbery, so use some stealth unless you want to cause a scene.
Flipping through its pages will give you the Earth coordinates for Los Angeles. Go down, look for the tower – you can’t miss it: the ground is a giant desert now – and you’ll find the Los Angeles Snowball near the bottom of the bank tower.
Gateway Arch, St. Louis, Missouri, Ground
Let’s head east to Missouri and check out the big, floppy thing the locals loved so much. Fortunately, the portal arc escaped the destruction of Earth’s atmosphere. To find out how to get there, you’ll need to steal the penthouse key in Neon’s Astral Lounge on planet Volii Alpha in the Volii system.

Enter the Astral Lounge and take the elevator on the left to go to the VIP area. You’ll find Benjamin Bayou in one of the private booths. Pickpocket his penthouse key and leave the Astral Lounge. Before you reach the stairs leading to the entrance hall, turn left to find an elevator. Take this elevator to the Bayou penthouse. Once you’re inside, find his desk and you’ll see a book on the desk with the title The price of fate. Read it and you’ll get the location of St. Louis and its famous arch.
Empire State Building, New York, Earth
It’s time to visit New York City, which remains the center of the world even in its barren state. This time you are looking for a book called Our lost heritage. You can find it in the MAST building in New Atlantis on Jemison in the Alpha Centauri system.
Head to the President’s office via the MAST building’s ground floor lobby elevator and steal this book directly from her office. Read it to get the location of the Empire State Building. Unfortunately, you will not be able to view the halls Complete strategyBut you can find a snow globe hanging on a rock in the area surrounding the building.
The Shard, London, Earth
Let’s go to London (this time I won’t be talking to a McDonald’s employee about what exactly brown sauce is). This is fairly simple: go to Akila City in Akila in the Cheyenne System and buy a copy of it Oliver Twist Written by Sinclair. (If you find one of its many copies elsewhere, that’s okay too.) Read it and you’ll get a landing site on Earth.
Now head to the new Earth landing site in London to check out the Shard. Don’t forget to search the surrounding area for the snowball!
Pyramids, Cairo, Earth
What remains of the pyramids after the death of the Earth? Let’s go check them out. Returning to Sinclair’s books in the city of Aquila, get a copy of Civilization of ancient Egypt. Read it and then take a trip to Cairo on the ground to check out the sights. Grab a snowball on your way out.
Burj Khalifa, Dubai, Earth
It’s very easy to get blocked from finding the epic Burj Dubai if you finished the “Siren of the Stars” quest in the Crimson Fleet scenario and didn’t loot the book Race to the sky In the fifth room on the cruiser Star whistle.
Once you read that, you will get the location of Dubai and you can check out this incredibly tall building, which intercepts the snowball of nearby Dubai.
International Trade Centre, Hong Kong, Ground
To locate Hong Kong, you will need to go to the New Homestead on Titan in the Sol System and retrieve Maurice Lyon’s diary. Enter the new estate. Go down the stairs into the museum and turn left immediately before you pass the Starsap Tours kiosk. You will find a series of shelves with a red book. Read the book and the location of Hong Kong will be added to your map.
Shanghai Tower, Shanghai, Earth
The Shanghai Tower can be found by reading Fundamentals of modern macroeconomics In the classroom on board the spacecraft ECS constant. You can find this ship initially orbiting Paradiso on the planet Porrima 2 in the Porrima system.

However, you may or may not be able to access it, depending on the outcome of the First Contact quest. It is best to get the book before starting First Contact.
Abeno Harukas, Osaka, Earth
First find Diary of Kyosuke Nagata On the main star station in the Kryx system. You’ll find it in Delgado’s room on the nightstand next to his bed.
You will be able to access the key as part of the Crimson Fleet faction quest. Depending on the outcome of this quest line and how far you progress, you may or may not be able to obtain this book.
Leaning Tower of Pisa, Earth
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is such a strange location on Earth that currently there seems to be no specific book that can help you find it. Instead, you’ll have to brush up on your geography to try to guess where it is on the Earth’s surface.

To get started, first find a London landmark by following the instructions above. Then look to the south-east of London on the Earth map, beyond the first mountain range in the corner. This is where you need to move your ship. I was able to find the tower at this location:
Head to the highest observation point you can find in the landing zone and look for anything that looks like a tower. It may take one or two tries to click on the correct landing spot. Frustratingly, the tower will not appear on your scanner, unlike other points of interest.
If you’re playing on PC, there’s another way to find it. If you just want to be taken to the tower automatically, bring up the console (via the tilde key) and enter this command:

You should head to near the Tower of Pisa.
Note that using console commands will disable achievements in your save file. Fortunately, you can avoid this fate by installing an achievement protection add-on beforehand. For the Steam game we love PACA Fulfillment Empowerment (SFSE)but if you are using the Windows Store/Game Pass version, you can try the regular old version Achievement factor. Get one of these running and you’ll be safe to use a console command without any achievement repercussions.
However you get to the tower, you’ll find a snowball at its base.
Apollo moon landing site, Luna
To unlock the Apollo Moon landing site, you will need to find Sir Livingstone II’s journal. This is located at The Lodge in Matteo’s room. Now all you have to do is travel to Luna in the Sol system — the celestial body we Earthlings commonly call “the Moon” — to find the landing site and the related snowball.
Opportunity Mars Rover, Mars
To find NASA’s old Mars Opportunity Rover, you must have progressed through the main mission chain up to the “Unearthed” mission, which sends you to a specific location on Earth, a long-abandoned NASA building.
As part of this mission, you’ll find a decadent, museum-style exhibit dedicated to early space exploration efforts at the NASA facility. Read the position for the Mars Exploration Rovers (MER) and you’ll be given a mission to return to Mars to find the rover and related snow globe.
Mars face, Mars
In 1976, the Viking orbiters captured an image of the surface of Mars that included a certain mountain, which, under certain lighting conditions, looked like a face. You can also find a snow globe from it Starfield.
When walking out of the Sidonian settlement, head southeast to a large hill (it’s a bit of a hike). As you cross the top of the hill and start heading down, look for areas with patches of dark ground and you will find a snowball in one of them.
NASA Globe
The same NASA facility that “Unearthed” takes you to is also home to five NASA-themed snow globes. You’ll find Number One by climbing to the top of the outdoor launch tower, e.g. Very top. Also stop on the fifth floor, where inside the closet you’ll find a second NASA-themed snow globe. This same floor also contains a third snow globe sitting on a desk a short distance from the closet. Well, that’s it for this sign.
Inside the NASA Museum area (which is inaccessible after completing “Unearthed”), you’ll need to follow the last two balls. At first, just follow the mission markers until you reach an area bathed in red light. On a row of benches is a NASA-themed snow globe. Continue a little further and you will find a “Secure Access” door that requires power to open; The final snowball will be on the desk before where you need to re-energize.
This concludes our list of all the landmarks and snow globes Starfield. However, it is entirely possible (given the undetermined location of the Leaning Tower of Pisa) that there are more undiscovered landmarks on Earth. We will update this guide if we come across any other evidence.
