Alan Wake 2 gets its first patch and treatment to look into audio issues

Remedy Entertainment has released the first update for its survival horror sequel Alan Wake 2 and has assured fans that it is looking into audio issues affecting Xbox users.

the Patch notes – For update 1.00.05 on PlayStation 5, 1.0.6 on PC, and 1.0.0.7 on Xbox Series and resettlement issues. Despite the different patch names, Remedy confirmed that “there is now parity” between the three releases.

Somewhat unusually, the update also promises “a friendlier error message when third-party software stops the game” on PC.

However, the latest patches don’t address the major audio issues players have been experiencing, especially on Xbox, but Remedy said in a statement: x/twitter They are then “aware of the audio being cut off on Xbox and are looking into it”.

The developer also thanked fans for their response to Alan Wake 2 and for providing feedback to the team. “Thank you for the amazing response to Alan Wake 2,” she said in another post on the site x/twitter. “We are looking at all of your comments. We will address some of the technical issues we noticed over the weekend as quickly as possible and continue to update the game.”
