Samsung may launch the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S23 FE in India

India was the first country where the Galaxy S23 FE was launched. The device was announced a few weeks ago, and has been gradually launched in other countries, including South Korea and the United States. The North American version of the phone features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, while the other version uses the Exynos 2200 chip. The version launched in India uses the Exynos processor, but it appears that the company is working on bringing the Snapdragon version of the phone to the Indian market as well.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version of the Galaxy S23 FE could be launched in India

Samsung has started launching a new phone in India. The company uploaded an image on Flipkart with the caption ‘The New Epic’. Looking at the artwork, it looks like the Galaxy S23 FE. However, since the Galaxy S23 FE is already available in India, the company could launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version of the smartphone in the country. This is similar to what happened with the Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 FE in India. However, in those cases, the Snapdragon versions of the phones were launched at least six months after the Exynos versions.

In the case of the Galaxy S23 FE, it seems that Samsung will launch the Snapdragon version of the phone just two months after the launch of the Exynos version. If this happens, it could upset some Galaxy S23 FE buyers who bought the Exynos version of the phone because the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip is slightly more power efficient than the Exynos 2200.
