USPS mail carrier attacked and robbed in Randolph, Massachusetts – NBC Boston

Authorities are investigating the robbery of a mailman Wednesday afternoon in Randolph, Massachusetts.

Police in Randolph were called to the Rosemont Square apartment complex around 12:30 p.m. when a U.S. Postal Service worker reported being attacked and robbed.

Authorities say two men dressed in black physically assaulted the man and stole an arrow key.

The US Postal Inspection Service said it was investigating the theft.

There has been a recent rise in attacks on message carriers. One such incident occurred on Canton Street in Randolph last March.
