ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando Dunkin' customer is seeking more than $100,000 in a lawsuit alleging a toilet burst on him, causing “serious and long-term injuries.”

Paul Kerouac claims he was injured by a pottery explosion a year ago at one of the chain's locations in Central Florida. It was covered in “human feces, urine and debris.” The Associated Press reported In a related article.
After asking staff for help, one of them told him they were aware of the “toilet problem” and that there had been previous incidents.

“When his attorney, Scott Spradley, was reached Thursday via email seeking more details about Kerouac’s injuries, he said he was restrained and unable to answer questions until the next day,” the AP article said.
Kerouac's negligence lawsuit states that he was injured in the accident and required mental health care and counseling after the 2022 incident.

Dunkin' did not immediately respond to the AP in an email seeking comment.
