Kate Middleton cancer update: Princess of Wales ‘making good progress’ with treatment as she returns to Trooping the Color

The 60-year-old British artist, who has created many controversial works, described the honor as the latest “wonderful surprise” in her life.

It read: “I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the past two months. It has made such a difference to William and me and has helped us get through some tough times.

“I’m making good progress, but as anyone who’s been through chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak and tired and you have to give in to your body’s comfort. But on the good days, when you’re feeling strong, you want to make the most of feeling good.” .

“My treatment is ongoing and will continue for a few more months. On days when I feel well enough, I have the pleasure of engaging in school life, spending personal time on things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do some work from home.

“I’m looking forward to attending the King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and I hope to take part in some public engagements over the summer, but equally I know I’m not out of the woods yet.

“I’m learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take that much-needed time to heal.

Tomorrow will be Kate’s first public appearance since Christmas Day last year.

Following news that the Princess of Wales is “considering” appearing at Trooping the Colour, a source close to Kate claimed she would not appear to avoid skipping the King.
