WWE Money in the Bank 2024 Match Predictions

Predicting the winners and losers of this match is one thing. Money in the Bank 2024But what about guessing the match order for this event?

money in the bank The event will take place tonight (Saturday, July 6) at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. ET with a free Countdown show, which runs for two hours on YouTube, WWE.com and various other social media outlets. This leads directly into the main card at 7 p.m. ET, which you can stream on a number of devices if you have a Peacock subscription in the US and WWE Network elsewhere.

WWE has announced five different segments to the main card for this event. Here is my personal take on how important each of these five segments is, ranked from most important to least important.

  1. Damian Priest vs Seth Rollins
  2. Men’s Ladder Match
  3. Women’s Ladder Match
  4. Rhodes, Orton, and Owens vs. The Bloodline
  5. Sami Zayn vs Braun Breaker

The main event

The men’s Money in the Bank match didn’t feature a host of superstars and former world champions, so it’s not a good fit for the main event. That’s okay, because a title change is certainly possible when Damian Priest defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins, with the added risk of losing to Priest. This title match is clearly the main event of tonight’s card.

Everything else

There are two Money in the Bank ladder matches that could be placed between the first four segments, so it makes sense to put one in the first segment and one in the fourth, to create maximum distance between them. I’m going to go with the men in the opening match, partly because Jey Uso’s entrance is so over the top that it could be a great way to start the show.

Another reason is that Drew McIntyre has already stated that he will end tonight’s show by cashing in the Money in the Bank contract. If McIntyre does follow through on his promise to win the ladder match, he should do so early in the show so that there is plenty of time throughout the show to build anticipation for his guaranteed attempt to cash in the Money in the Bank contract (and possibly CM Punk cheating on him).

With the men’s ladder match opening the show, it means the women’s match will move to part four.

After that I will finish the less important match as soon as possible, which puts Zayn in part two and The Bloodline in part three.
