The famous house where Kevin McAllister left Home Alone On sale at Christmas.
The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home in Winnetka, chicagowhich served as the skin for both the original film and its 1992 sequel, is on the market for $5.25 million (£4.1 million).
According to US real estate agent Zillow, this is the first time the property has been listed since 2012.
Since the release of the classic 1990 film directed by Chris Columbusthe house has undergone extensive renovations and looks very different than it did when Kevin, played by Macaulay Culkin, turned it into a house of horrors to catch burglars Harry and Marv.
Estate agents The Dawn McKenna Group have published a detailed rendering of the interiors, stating that the current owners have doubled the living space by adding a large conservatory as well as a state-of-the-art basketball court, gym and cinema theatre.
The master bedroom features a fireplace, a walk-in closet, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a large freestanding bathtub and double sinks – perfect for recreating Kevin’s famous shaving routine in peace.
