The governor of Orlov Oblast, Andrei Klychkov, was quoted as announcing on social media that a fuel station in the region's capital had caught fire.
The city of Oryol is located about 150 km from the border with Ukraine. According to the governor, the cause of the fire was either a direct hit by an unmanned aerial vehicle or a shot down that landed on the base.
Ukrainska Pravda cited Russian media reports that seven towns were left without power as a result of attacks by “alleged Ukrainian drones” in the Belgorod region on the border with Ukraine.
