A man in China’s Zhejiang province has gone viral after he was seen in a video catching a young boy who fell from a sixth-floor apartment window.
In TV footage uploaded to Twitter on Friday by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijiang, the July 19 man is seen talking on the phone as he rushes toward the front of the building, briefly sliding. Then he looks up and catches the baby, who is quickly falling into his arms.
The video is cut into CCTV footage of the building and shows the 3-year-old slipping out the window and quickly tumbling down.
The video has garnered more than 158,000 views and 9,000 likes.
