Actor Richard Rowat of Friends and Golden Girls dies at the age of 89

Richard Rowat, who acted in such famous shows as “Friends”, “Golden Girls” and “Seinfeld”, has passed away. According to his obituary, he “died suddenly” at the age of 89.

With more than 135 acting roles to his name, Rawat has portrayed many characters in TV, movies and even on Broadway.

At the time of his death, he had just celebrated his 40th wedding anniversary with his wife Cathy.

“His family was his greatest love, as he shared his unparalleled sense of humour, intelligence, and enthusiasm for life,” says his obituary.
