Angel Reese says her team won’t be going to the White House but will celebrate with the Obamas

(CNN) LSU star Angel Reese says neither she nor her team will be visiting the White House after the Tigers defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes 102-85 to win their first national basketball championship.

After LSU’s win Sunday, coach Kim Mulkey said she would go to the White House if the team was invited.

A spokesman for the Obama family declined to comment. CNN has reached out to LSU for comment.
