Members “american horror storyYou can finally breathe a sigh of relief as details of the series’ eleventh season have finally been announced, including the title, “American Horror Story: New York City.”
After months of fan speculation about the upcoming season’s theme, FX announced Thursday that the season will be called “NYC” and premiere October 19.
Two episodes will air on the premiere date, with two episodes airing every Wednesday over the next four weeks. Episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the day after the broadcast.
By the time season 11 begins, it will have been a full year since season 10 ended and fans of the show have been impatient while waiting for any news of the new season.
Their patience is running out to the point that the owners of various fan accounts on social media have come together to issue a statement threatening to go on strike due to the network’s withholding of information. Before Thursday’s announcement, the only information fans had was that Season 11 was to be aired sometime in the fall.
Although not much information is known about the new season in terms of its story, the cast has been released. Show Veterans Joe Mantello, Billy LordLeslie Grossman, Isaac Powell, Dennis O’Hare, Patti Lupone, and Zachary Quinto are all set to return, along with some new faces.
Newcomers include Sandra Bernard and Charlie Carver, and while they may be new to American Horror Story, they aren’t new to Ryan Murphy’s world. Bernhard worked with Murphy on “Bose”, while Carver worked with him on both “Ratched” and “The Boys in the Band”.
Murphy is the mastermind behind Operation American Horror Story as he produces, writes, and directs the show. He is best known for creating some of the most popular soap operas in modern history, including “Pose”,cheerfuland “American Horror Story” and “American Crime Story”.

Entering its eleventh season, “American Horror Story” has officially become the longest-running one-hour series in FX history and has garnered many fans along the way. As an anthology series, each season follows a new cast of characters as they navigate their own worlds.

The demand for “American Horror Story” was so high that Murphy and his co-producer Brad Falchuk Created a spin-off called “American Horror Stories”. While both are anthology series, the spin-off features independent episodes, while the original features one story that continues throughout the entire season.
