Apple’s Amazon Prime Day Deals on AirPods, MacBooks, and iPads You Can’t Miss Today

As we enter the second day of the Amazon Prime Day sale, we’re happy to see that almost all of the Apple deals we highlighted yesterday are still going strong. So if you have better things to do on Tuesday than shopping, you still have some time. Amazon is a good place to get deals on Apple products in general (you’ll never find discounts on Apple’s website), but Prime Day is even better. We’re seeing unprecedented price drops on the Apple Watch, AirPods Pro, and AirPod Max, as well as all four iPads.

Buy new Apple devices now and you’ll be ready to try out the new features coming this fall with the software updates Apple announced at WWDC. If you’ve noticed a shortage of Apple’s flagship product, the iPhone, you’re right: Amazon typically doesn’t sell new or unlocked models. Why? I don’t know. But pretty much everything else Apple sells is on sale right now.

As with all of Engadget’s tech deals, these deals highlight discounts on Apple gear we’ve tested or used and know is worth your money. We’ve compared our guides and reviews with Amazon’s Prime Day deals to come up with what you see here. We’ll be updating these deal summaries as Amazon’s Prime Day deals end.

Apple launched two new iPad Pro sizes, each with the company’s latest M4 chip, in May. Currently, the Pro tablet is the only Apple device to feature the company’s latest silicon. the 13 inch model With the same capacity, the price drops to $1,198 instead of the full $1,299 sticker. Before that, the biggest discounts we’d seen were $70 and $100 off the models, respectively. We were impressed by the iPad Pro’s stunning display and incredibly powerful performance, as you can see in our review, but we called it “incredibly expensive.” This discount might change things up a bit.

The standard iPad wasn’t replaced during Apple’s iPad event in May, so iPad 10th generation This is still the latest release. It was priced at $299 on Prime Day, the lowest on record. With the launch of the new Pro and Air models, Apple has permanently lowered the list price to $349. We gave it a review score of 85 after its October 2022 launch. the iPad mini The iPad Mini is the smallest tablet in Apple’s lineup — and it hasn’t been replaced this year either — and now Amazon has slashed its price to $380 for Prime Day. The lowest price we’ve tracked was $380 during last year’s sale, and the list price is $499. The iPad Mini is our pick for one-handed use in our iPad guide and is best for those who want something they can easily slip into a bag or use as a capable e-reader.

the Apple iPad 9th generation The service was technically discontinued after the new iPads launched in May. But it’s still available on Amazon, and is now priced at just $249 on Prime Day.

This was our previous pick for a budget iPad, but we’ve since changed that recommendation to the 10th-generation iPad. However, if you want a cheap Apple tablet, this is the one to consider. I bought one for my son after getting tired of (his complaints about) the poor performance of his cheaper tablet. I’m a fan of the parent-set screen time limits and the fast processing that’s enough to keep him satisfied no matter how much Minecraft he plays.

These are our favorite running earbuds. We love the AirPod-like comfort—like hands-free Siri—but they’re better suited for running and strenuous workouts thanks to the wings that keep them (comfortably) in place.

Apple Studio Display The phone is now on sale for $1,300 for the customizable models with standard (non-nano-textured) glass. That matches the all-time low price we saw earlier this year.

We gave the Apple Studio Monitor an 80 in our 2022 review thanks to its build quality, good audio, and bright, sharp display. The refresh rate is just 60Hz (which is pretty low these days) and the webcam was lackluster. But if you’re an Apple fan, you’ll find plenty to appreciate in the 27-inch, 2,880-pixel 5K LCD display that supports 1 billion colors. It can also deliver a 96W charge to your MacBook for a cleaner-looking desktop.
