Sony appears to be bringing EA Sports FC 24 to the forefront in May 2024, marking the first time the franchise has been released without the FIFA name. It's still mostly the same game as before, with high-quality football gameplay across many different modes. “Underneath the familiarity is another great football sim, with some smart new additions like PlayStyles and Precision Passing that help bring more personality to a previously robotic experience,” we concluded in our conversation. EA Sports FC 24 review.
“The additions to Ultimate Team bring flexibility to the game's main mode, while the developer listens to its fanbase, and slowly iterates on often neglected areas like Career Mode and Clubs.”
The PS5 and PS4 console maker also wants to make sure you're all up to speed on Destiny 2's expansions, with Lightfall being additional DLC included in PS Plus Essential. This will prepare you for the final form fall in June.
Indie Gem Tunic and its sequel AA Ghostrunner 2 round out the lineup to please a wider audience of PS5 and PS4 users. After first launching on Xbox, Tunic made its way to Sony systems, where we gave it an 8/10. “It's a cohesive, satisfying game that scratches the old-school passion for action-adventure, and goes above and beyond with subversive cerebral puzzles. It probably lasts longer than it needs to, but this little gem of a game punches above its weight.”
