Like Google Stadia (RIP), Amazon’s Luna cloud game streaming lets you play games online — no console required. All you need is a stable internet connection to play, a controller, and compatible hardware for the service to work.

Many consoles It is supported, but you may want to purchase the official Luna controller paired as it comes with a month of Luna + charge $39.99 Before Prime Day. The console by itself is usually $69.99, and the service costs $9.99 per month. Additionally, Amazon claims that the latency of its Luna controller is much better than controllers connected via Bluetooth because it connects to Wi-Fi instead.

Luna is compatible with a wide range of devices, including Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, Fire TV, and even Amazon Fire tablets (your saved data will follow you across devices, too). Amazon is currently discounting a limited series of star Wars– Objective mounts compatible with my 4th and Fifth generation Echo Dot. Usually available for $39.99, you can pick up the cleverly designed cases for it $29.99 all. These are available on an invite-only basis, so if you’re interested, ask for an invite and you might be selected to purchase one come Prime Day.

These plastic busts are modeled on the visage of Darth Vader, Mando, and the Imperial Stormtroopers. They all feature a place on the back to route the speaker’s power cable through, and translucent eyes that glow blue when the Echo Dot is activated by voice. Note: The stand does not include the speaker, although you should expect to see a charge $49.99 for the fifth generation Echo Dot To drop off before or during Prime Day.

While Amazon has yet to make an olive green Echo Dot, Otterbox offers the stand for $27.99 Similar to Grogu if the Mandalorian Echo Dot needs a friend.

Prime Day is also a great opportunity to grab an Amazon Fire TV for a lot less than what it usually costs. Currently, many models are available at a significant discount. A few we recommend looking at are the 65-inch Amazon Fire QLED Series TV, the 55-inch 4 Series Smart TV, and the 43-inch Omni Series, all of which are 4K devices.

Starting with the most expensive model first, the 65-inch QLED series It’s the flagship model of Amazon’s Fire TV lineup and is on sale for $599.99 (usually $799.99) before Prime Day. The QLED series features a 4K dot-matrix display with Dolby Vision IQ and adaptive HDR 10+ for contrast-rich picture quality, no matter what you’re watching. Just like other Fire TV models, the QLED series supports voice-enabled Alexa functionality. Smartly, it does not need a remote control to respond to voice commands, allowing for true hands-free operation control.

You’ll need to pay more (and search outside of Amazon’s offerings) to find gamer-centric features like AMD FreeSync or Nvidia G-Sync compatibility. But for everything else, the QLED series represents solid value, especially at this price.

Another solid 4K option that supports HDR10 and Dolby Digital Plus is 43 inch Omni Series Fire TV, which currently retails for $99.99 (usually $399.99). This is not a typo. However, this discounted model is available by invitation only, which means that the model will only be available in limited quantities on Prime Day, but Prime members can request an invite now for the first dibs when the sale goes live.

Honestly, if you just need a fairly large, 4K-ready display with a 60Hz refresh rate, the UHD Omni series is a great option for just $100. The Omni Series also has the added benefit of hands-free Alexa voice controls, unlike the Series 4 which requires a remote control.

Amazon Fire TV 55 inch 4 series Discounted to $379.99 instead of the usual $519.99. While it doesn’t have the same QLED display as more expensive models for vibrant contrast, the Series 4 supports 4K HDR10 playback and Dolby Digital Plus for lifelike picture and sound. Like other TV options, the Series 4 features Alexa functionality built in but only supports voice controls via the included remote control, in case you care.

Amazon is accepting invitations to be able to purchase this Acer Swift X on Prime Day. While it’s not a gaming laptop, by itself, the Ryzen 7 CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti should be able to run a decent number of games on medium settings. If you get invited to buy it on Prime Day, it will only cost you $629.99And great price for what you get. Whether you plan on gaming or not, it’s a compact 14-inch laptop that looks great for all kinds of tasks.
