Bobby Lashley competes with Brock Lesnar on Saturday (November 5) in WWE crown jewel in KSA. This is a rematch from Royal Rumble 2022Bob used great help from Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman to defeat The Beast and win the WWE Championship. Brock is back in WWE Get all that Saudi money Kick Bobby’s ass and take back his win.
In an interview with Shakil Mahjouri on CBS SportsBob gave a great explanation for why his feud with Brock continued crown jewel. In fact, it is believed that their feud will continue until the two men retire:
“There have been years and years and years of progress. Because of the way things have come together with us, I don’t think this is the last time we’ll see each other. I think until the end of my career, the end of his career, there will always be Bobby and Brock. Because now I’m looking at the outcome. As one for me, a zero for him. So if there are two for me and a zero for him after Crown Jewel, I’m sure he’ll come back for another one. He has to avenge his losses.”
“…I guess it won’t be the last time. I think there is a lot that Brooke and I can do. So I think this feud is going to be a feud that will continue and it will still look different…”
If I follow Bob’s initial argument correctly, he says he will win again in crown jewelAnd that would eat enough of Brock to demand a third match. This is because Brock is driven by the need to avenge his losses.
So Bob would defeat him in the third match, and Brock would claim a fourth match. This pattern will be repeated in a loop until both men retire.
I like the confidence behind Lashley’s streak of logic here, and the bold idea that he can go as close to 15-0 in his career against Brock Lesnar. But unfortunately for The All Mighty, I’m pretty sure his argument will escalate after Brock beat him this weekend at crown jewel. Brock has dropped back-to-back matches against Roman Reigns and is sure to win his next match to protect him from looking like a loser. The next match happens to be against Bobby Lashley this weekend in Saudi Arabia.
Even after Brock won, I can still see his feud with Bobby continuing. Just take a look at how Brock has easily destroyed most of WWE’s roster without Roman Reigns or Bobby Lashley over the past year. Aside from these two guys and Drew McIntyre, WWE has to put some effort into proving that few others on the roster have what it takes to hang out in the same episode with Lesnar.
