The 2023 WNBA season begins Friday night with a four-game schedule capped by Brittney Grenier’s return to the league as the Phoenix Mercury take on the Los Angeles Sparks at 11 p.m. ET on ESPN. The 2023 season also features two superstar teams in the defending champions Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty, who have taken on Jonquil Jones, Breanna Stewart and Courtney Vandersloot in the offseason. The talented rookie class will get its chance to make a mark in the league, led by #1 seed overall Aliyah Boston with the Indiana Fever.
