Performance artist and anti-Israel activist “Crackhead Barney” refused to say why she harassed Alec Baldwin in a New York City cafe this week in a completely bizarre interview with Piers Morgan on Wednesday — insisting she was “vilified” by the actor.
The left-wing provocateur's appearance on Morgan's show “Uncensored” was surreal from the start.
“I've been waiting for you, Pierce and King Morgan!” exclaimed the popular Al Ambush broadcaster, who has nearly 100,000 followers on Instagram, after she was introduced on the show.
Crackhead Barney's face is painted white with bright red lipstick. She was wearing a messy blonde wig, a neck brace and a thick pair of sunglasses. Her shirt was pulled up to her neck, revealing her almost bare chest.
the An unidentified person from Jamaica, QueensShe was carrying a single crutch and her right arm appeared to be in some sort of splint or sling – and she was wearing a diaper that she told Morgan she had worn especially for him.
Morgan asked her about her confrontation with Baldwin at a cafe on Monday, during which the performer filmed herself demanding that the actor say “liberate Palestine” until he knocked her phone out of her hands.
She immediately screamed that Baldwin had attacked her and that she was the victim.
“What have you done to Alec Baldwin? Pierce, do you see the damage Alec has done to me?” she asked, pointing to her crutches.
“See the damage? Look at my arms! Look at my arms, Pierce! Look at my neck! A white man mutilated me on Monday!”
Morgan assured her that she was not “disfigured.” She called the flight attendant “another white devil” during a tirade that was so spirited it sent her wig flying.
“You don't have to yell at me, we can have a civil conversation,” Morgan told her.
“Pierce and-King Morgan…what's wrong with saying Palestine is free?” she asked. “Perce, can you tell me 'free, free Palestine'?”
Morgan tries to fight back but has difficulty overcoming Crackhead Barney's screams. When he managed to get a word in, the host said: “I fully believe that Palestine should be free.”
Then his guest asked him to tell her how to achieve this.
Morgan, also a Washington Post columnist, tried to bring the conversation back to the Baldwin incident and asked Crackhead Barney again why she confronted him.
“This is the third white man to hit me this week,” she said, confirming that she had been attacked.
“Yesterday, my white friend hit me.”
Morgan suggested that Crackhead Barney was making fun of a dangerous war that had left more than 34,000 dead.
“Why make a mockery of it?” Morgan asked as she put the food in her mouth.
“I'm always serious,” she replied, pretending to cry.
“I'm a victim. I'm a victim, Pierce,” she said as food fell onto her face and chest.
Morgan tried one last time to convince the incredibly chaotic agitator to say why she confronted Baldwin. Then she looked upset.
“Look, Pierce, you're trying to turn this into some bullshit. I know exactly what you're doing, Pierce, and your tactics,” she said.
“You're a Brit, you're a very annoying person, you eat tea and crumpets, you have your pinky in the fucking air, you support the Queen. Fuck the Crown, fuck Buckingham Palace.”
“Now I'm getting angry. 'Because that's what you're doing, Pierce. You're setting people up to do it.'
“I know exactly what you're doing, Pierce. Because I do it too, Pierce. And I've got an AF-King audience. You think you can set me up, Pierce?” her agitated screams continued.
Morgan describes her appearance as “one of the most pathetic things I've ever had to endure” before he cuts her off.
Crackhead Barney approached Baldwin inside Maman on University Place in Greenwich Village on Monday. She repeatedly harassed the 66-year-old to say “Free Palestine” and promised to leave him alone if he did so.
The podcast host, known for conducting ambush interviews, also brought up Baldwin's criminal case in New Mexico, where he faces manslaughter in the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halina Hutchins during the filming of “Rust.”
The Emmy winner grabbed the activist's phone as she tried to grab it. The footage she posted showed that he pushed her out the door and locked it to keep her out.
She then wanders outside talking to herself about how Baldwin “assaulted me, I should press charges,” while calling random passersby racists and “Zionist whores.”
After the incident, she said in a statement: “My performance art and confrontational media are a statement about the double standards of society in the United States.
“While the United States supports Israel in its genocide of Palestinians, here at home, powerful people maintain a façade of decency and dignity while we export death and terror around the world,” she continued, adding that the entertainment industry “has been largely silent.” Concerning “Israeli genocide.”
Her recent videos largely consist of her cursing at cops and telling pro-Israel protesters things like “You know they're not coming home, right?” In reference to the hostages kidnapped by Hamas.
