There is a lot more on the horizon for the second year of the game
With Will The first season of DLC for Guilty Gear Strive, which will end the first year of Arc System Works’ success in the fighting game, will soon conclude, and there’s more to come.
The developers also announced that cross-platform play is coming soon to Guilty Gear Strive as well as 4 other characters in Season 2.
At the same time, ArcSys confirmed that the first Strive story is slated to release in late April and will focus on characters that did not appear in the main story mode such as May, Faust, and Ramlethal. The new feature will be titled “Another Story”.

Crossplay was something the developers said they were looking for after the launch of Strive last year, and it looks like they made the giant fan demand a reality by including online play between the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC versions together.
No release window has been given as to when players can expect Season 2 to drop, but it’s currently in development and will also come with new stages, additional colors, and a new track from series creator Daisuke Ishiwatari.
For those wondering about the balance update, yes, they confirmed that “Major Balance Adjustment” is coming to Strive with Season 2 as well.
