The incident was reported to Kyiv police at around 10:00 on October 21. When the rescuers arrived, Viktor Ognivyuk was alive. Unfortunately, he suffered more extensive injuries. The doctors tried to save the man’s life.

In an interview with the “Ukrinform” portal, the spokeswoman of the Kyiv regional police, Irina Priyanishnikova, said that the 63-year-old died of a gunshot wound. The services have started an investigation into the matter and the details and reasons of the incident will be determined. However, everything points to Ogniviuk taking his own life.
The body was sent for forensic examination. This time we consider one of the main versions – suicide. All the circumstances of this event indicate this – Bryanishnikova told journalists.
