Storm Hank has hit the UK. Passengers landing at London Heathrow Airport on Tuesday experienced terrifying moments as the machines rocked from side to side as they descended to the ground. The British Met Office has issued a high wind warning for parts of the country. They also said that between 4pm and 5pm local time, winds of up to 111 kilometers per hour hit the airport.
The wind was blowing the planes
Records show passenger flights of various airlines landing at London Heathrow Airport. Airplanes swing from side to side and land erratically on the runway. This is due to the storm that has been paralyzing the British Isles since Monday.
Wind gusts of up to 150km/h were reported at Needles on the Isle of Wight, forecasters said. Mumbles Head in South Wales was hit with gusts of up to 71km/h.
