Vought International has two new employees to brag about: Supes Firecracker and Sister Sage debuted Monday in two priority photos from “Vought International.”boysThe fourth season of Amazon’s Prime Video revealed.
In the photos, which you can see at the bottom of this post, you’ll see Susan Hayward dressed up as Sister Sage and Valorie Curry wearing a fireworks costume.
Both suits were designed by Laura Jean Shannon, “The Boys” fashion designer who designed Jensen Ackles’ favorite boy soldier look for season 3.
Fans will want to pick the details of these costumes as far away as possible, because Amazon says that everything else about the Firecracker and Sister Sage characters will “remain kept secret until the season airs.” While we don’t know when that will be yet, we do know that Season 4 of “The Boys” is currently in production in Toronto — so stay tuned.
Hayward recently starred in the OWN series “Delilah” and will next appear in the Apple TV+ series “Hello Tomorrow”. She is best known for her outstanding performance as Tamika Ward in the last two seasons of Orange Is the New Black on Netflix.
Carrey most recently starred as the heroine, Katherine, in Peacock’s “The Lost Symbol,” based on a Dan Brown book, opposite Eddie Izzard and Ashley Zukerman. She starred in “The Tick” on Sony/Amazon opposite Griffin Newman and Peter Serafinovich.
Based on the comics by Garth Innes and Darek Robertson, who also serve as executive producers on the Amazon series, “The Boys” was developed by executive producer and presenter Eric Kripke. Kripke CEO produces alongside Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Craig Rosenberg, Ken F. Levin, Jason Netter, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn and Michaela Starr.
“The Boys” is descended from Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television Studios in association with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film and Point Gray Pictures.
