Marvel has revealed the title of its upcoming movie, Fantastic Four.
During Marvel Studios’ long-awaited panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, the film’s title was announced. Fantastic Four: The First StepsAdditionally, Michael Giacchino, who won an Academy Award for his score for the film, higherHe was announced as the composer for the film.
The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 25, 2025, directed by Matt Shakman (Wanda Vision) is the latest director to direct the classic Marvel movie series that originated in the comics in 1961. The film stars Pedro Pascal (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing).
The team became available to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Disney acquired Fox.

John Malkovich and Paul Walter Hauser are also set to appear in the film. Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer are credited as writers, while Wanda VisionPeter Cameron also worked on the screenplay.
After an unreleased Roger Corman film in the 1990s, the Fantastic Four hit the big screen in Tim Story’s 2005 film starring Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, and Michael Chiklis. Despite the film’s box office success, it led to a sequel in 2007, which was a critical failure, holding a 28% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The team was later rebooted for the 2015 Josh Trank film starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell. This film was less successful than the 2005 film, performing poorly at the box office and receiving only a 9% critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
