A new report on the fatal car accident that claimed a life Georgia Bulldog Football player Devin Willock and employee Chandler Lecroy show footage taken outside a strip club in the early morning of January 15th adding some context to the tragic incident.
The Atlanta Constitution Journal I obtained footage showing several Georgia players, along with Bulldogs employees, leaving Toppers International Showbar around 2:30 am, 15 minutes before the fatal car crash.
Also involved in the incident were Warren McClendon, a teammate of Willock’s, and recruiting member Tory Bowles, who were seen leaving with them 30 minutes after the club closed.

The police responded to the crash site at 2:45 am, about 2.5 miles from Toppers. LeCroy was the person operating the black 2021 Ford Expedition, which hit a passenger-side curb while driving over the speed limit and crashed into two power poles and a parked car.

Willock was pronounced dead at the scene while LeCroy succumbed to her injuries at Piedmont Regional Hospital. McClendon and Bowles were also taken to hospital.
A toxicology report on LeCroy is currently in progress.
Attorney Roy T. Wylie IV, who represents the Wheelock family, spoke to reporters outside the Athens-Clark County Courthouse last week, and issued a statement on their behalf.
“As there are no words to be found to describe the grief we are going through due to our loss, the support of everyone who said the kind words we shared Devine loving memories He helped us during this time.”
“What we would like everyone to know is that Devin was more than just a footballer. He was a trusted friend, a supportive and loving brother, a dedicated student and an amazing son. Devin’s infectious personality and lovable smile are matchless whoever met him or saw him will never forget. He was a young man who wasn’t just motivated by football. He was motivated by his love for others and his desire for his future.”
The incident came just hours after Georgia celebrated back-to-back national championships with a win over TCU.
Head coach Kirby Smart posted separate photos of Willock and Lecroy late last Sunday.
“Miss you already. Thinking of you tonight, Devin,” he wrote in one tweet.

In the other, he added “Gone too early. Chandler, I will always remember you for your kind heart.”
