Not long ago, Evo Japan 2024 was streamed on its second day on both Twitch and YouTube. During the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising finals, the Twitch stream for Evo Japan 2024 suddenly cut off.
As it turns out, all of Evo's Twitch streams were suddenly banned without warning. Viewers were simply told that the channel was unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, though it wasn't entirely clear what that violation was.
Some within the fighting game community speculated that this was an automated ban that occurred due to a lack of moderation in Twitch chat.
Fortunately, those watching on Twitch were able to head over to the Evo Japan 2024 live stream on YouTube to watch the conclusion of the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising event being held there. This was an important moment for the community because it was the first time a champion had been crowned at an Evo event for GBVSR.
naturally, StreamerBans I made sure to document and archive a ban on a Twitch partner. From this, we learn more information.
As it turns out, the ban on EVOJapan01 only lasted 41 minutes. This was the first time the account was banned since StreamerBans began tracking EVOJapan01 starting on July 28, 2019.

before a very long time, Official Evo Japan Twitter account He released a statement in Japanese that gives us an idea of what appears to have happened.
According to Google Translate, this issue was caused by a “login issue” and not by an issue with the stream itself. It was also noted that more official details will be announced at a later date.
Either way, the issue appears to have been resolved with Evo Japan returning to Twitch. We likely won't see the issue pop up again during Day 3 of the event later tonight.
