After receiving positive readiness verification results, our system contributes to NATO’s integrated air and missile defense. “This operational effort is an excellent opportunity to increase joint coordination and interoperability, share experiences and work as a better team with Slovakia and the Alliance,” said SAMP/T Task Force Commander Lt. Col. Michael Vellucci.

Missiles fired by the Mamba can hit air targets at a range of 3 to 100 km and ballistic missiles at a range of 35 km. Capable of hitting targets at an altitude of 25 km.
At the end of March, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has decided to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. He announced the construction of special warehouses for its storage in the neighboring country and the re-arming of 10 aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force with Iskander missiles.
In response, the EU threatened Russia with new economic sanctions. – The deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus could lead to an irresponsible expansion and could be considered a threat to European security. Belarus can still stop it, that’s its choice,” EU diplomat Joseph Borrell said.
China has also opposed the transfer of nuclear weapons to third countries. Speaking at a UN Security Council meeting, Chinese Ambassador Geng Shuang urged nuclear-armed states not to deploy elsewhere.
