Model and businesswoman Ivana Trump, former wife of the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, has passed away. Her son Eric and her ex-husband said goodbye.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ivana Trump. Our mother was an amazing woman – a force in business, a world-class athlete, radiant beauty, and a caring mother and friend. She was fearless. She was tenacious and patient, kind and determined to her children. Taught about. She will be. She will be. She is greatly missed,” Ivana Trump’s son Eric wrote on Facebook.
Ivana Trump has died at the age of 73. She was born Ivana Zelnikova in 1949 in Czech Slin (then Kotvaldov, Czechoslovakia). He came to New York in the mid-1970s. There he met the billionaire and later the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump. She was his first wife (they married in 1977), and the couple had three children: Donald Jr. (born in 1977), Ivanka (born in 1981), and Eric (born in 1984).
The couple were one of New York’s most influential couples in the 1980s. They decided to divorce when Donald Trump’s affair was revealed. The case was closed in 1992.
Announcing the death of his first wife, Trump said she passed away at her home in New York. She wrote on her social network, TRUTH Social, “I am so sad that I have to inform all those who loved her, and there are many of them.
“She was an amazing, beautiful and wonderful woman who lived an amazing and exciting life. Her pride and joy are her three children: Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric. We are proud of her. Peace, Ivano,” he wrote.
