His family revealed, in an interview with his hometown media, that Jack Hanna, who has hosted several TV shows about animals and was a regular presence on late-night talk shows, suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.
In conversation with Columbus Dispatch, Hanna’s family spoke for the first time about his condition, and this prompted an increase in support. Hannah now lives in Montana with her family.

Prior to the onset of his illness, Hanna was known for presenting animal shows on talk shows hosted by Johnny Carson, David Letterman, and James Corden, and he also hosted the syndicated TV show “Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures” from 1993 to 2008, “Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild”, which began in 2007, and “Jack Hanna’s Wild Countdown”, which ended in 2020.
