Janet Jackson rang her 57th birthday on Tuesday in style.
The All For You singer — who stepped out with Tom Cruise earlier this week — wore a mid-calf-length dress with white sneakers and massive gold earrings.
Raven’s hair was pulled into a bun on her head and her makeup showed off her glowing complexion.
She captioned the post, “Thank you everyone for all my lovely hand wishes. They made this day very special for me. I love you guys, and he added three heart-eye emojis.
Questlove, 52, hosted the Rhythm Nation singer’s party at the Divine Lorraine Hotel in Philadelphia.
She blows out the candles on her birthday cake, a delicious-looking two-tier strawberry shortcake with cream cheese frosting and then toasts her friends.
On the cake was Happy Birthday Janet with script script written on it and featuring five tall, skinny red candles.
Janet’s sister Latoya Jackson captioned the Instagram post: ‘Happy Birthday Jan! Much love to you always, many festive emojis added.
Busta Rhymes expressed the wishes in all caps, writing, “Happy for you, Miss Empress Royal.”
Ludacris, Questlove, Big Boi, and Bill Bellamy all left emojis celebrating the Control singer.
The When I Think Of You hitmaker is currently on her Together Again Tour which kicked off on April 14th and runs through June 21st with 38 stops.
The tour celebrates Janet’s 50 years in the entertainment industry as well as the 25th anniversary of her album The Velvet Rope and 30 years since the release of janet.
And fans everywhere will get a behind-the-scenes look at her tour via a documentary called Janet Jackson: Family First which is in the works at A&E and Lifetime.
The new documentary is a follow-up to last year’s Janet Jackson documentary, which garnered rave reviews.
“I am touched by the love and support from the amazing fans who enjoyed the documentary last year,” Janet said in a press release announcing the documentary.
I’m excited to continue sharing my story, welcoming fans to my life and the Together Again Tour. Thank you for your endless support, and I hope you enjoy the next chapter.
The documentary will also see the family band The Jacksons reunite for the first time in 40 years.
