Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever game was another brush with history. On Wednesday night, Clark broke the record for most three-pointers made in a WNBA season. Clark scored 19 points in an 84-80 win over the Connecticut Sun, hitting 3-of-12 from the field to push her season total to 88, a league-best.

Earlier this week, Clark tied Atlanta Dream wing Ryan Howard (85) for first place in Indiana’s 84-79 win over the Dream.
Of course, Clark was no stranger to making history in college. At Iowa, she set the NCAA Division I scoring record, became the Big Ten’s all-time assists leader and made the most three-pointers in a single season.

Triple Double for BeginnersClark recorded the first triple-double by a rookie in WNBA history on July 6 against the New York Liberty. It was also the first triple-double in Fever history.
Points-Rebounds-AssistsDuring the first half of the season, Clark became the first rookie in WNBA history to record 400 points, 100 rebounds and 150 assists in a single season.
HelpsOn August 18, Clark broke the record for most assists by a rookie. She now has 247 assists.

All-Star Game HelpClark made her All-Star debut in July and recorded the most assists (10) by a rookie in the exhibition game.
Three-pointers for beginners in one gameClarke hit seven 3-pointers in Indiana’s win over the Washington Mystics on June 7.
Ball rotation:That’s not so impressive. Clarke set the record for most turnovers in her WNBA debut, recording 10 in the Fever’s opener against the Connecticut Sun. She also set the WNBA rookie record for most turnovers, with 164, and has the most turnovers of any player, regardless of experience level, in WNBA history.
Points-AidIn the Dream Showdown, Clark recorded her 21st game with 15 points and 5 assists – the most in a single WNBA season.
