Markle, 41, recently sparked a backlash after a discussion on the ‘archetypes’ podcast with Paris Hilton in which she admitted she had a hard time working at a job based on her appearance when she had previously spent years studying international relations.

“I was grateful for the job but not for what made me feel. It wasn’t… smart. And by the way, I was surrounded by smart women with me at that point,” Markle said. “But that wasn’t the focus of why we were there. And I would end up leaving with this hole in my stomach, knowing I was so much more than materialized on stage.”

Markle joined the show in 2006 and held 11, 12 and 24 portfolios for at least 30 episodes of the show until her final assignment in 2007.
