Netflix Reveals Steven Yeun, Ali Wong’s Road Rage Show – Variety

Did you get “beef” with the driver who cut you off while you were backing out? Be careful – things can go wrong.

Netflix has released the trailer for its highly anticipated black comedy series “Beef” starring Stephen Yeun and Ali Wong.

In addition to the first stills, the channel also revealed their debut date of April 6. The show will consist of 10 episodes with a running time of approximately 30 minutes each.

The series follows the aftermath of two bizarre road accidents that cause a major backlash. Failed contractor Danny Chu (Yun) draws attention with idealistic entrepreneur Amy Lau (Wong) after tangling. As their feud continues, it begins to affect their lives and relationships.

“I have a very full life that I’d like to go back to,” Lau says in the trailer. “I will find you and take what little you have.”

The series stars Yeun and Wong and features Joseph Lee, Young Mazino, David Choi, Patti Yasutake, Maria Bello, Ashley Park, Justin H-min, Mia Serafino, Remy Holt, Andrew Santino, and Rick Lee.

Lee Sung Jin (“Undone,” “Dave,” and “Tuca & Bertie”) created and produced “Beef,” with Yeun, Wong, and Jake Schreier executive producing. Matthew Midlin serves as Producer. Serial comes from A24.
