Exclusive: With the third season Mayor of Kingstown After bowing out on Sunday, Jeremy Renner has found his next major film project as the Oscar-nominated actor is set to join Daniel Craig in the Netflix film. Dead Man’s Wake: A Knives Mystery.
He joins new cast members Kerry Washington, Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Glenn Close and Andrew Scott, with Craig set to return as world-famous detective Benoit Blanc and Rian Johnson as director. Johnson also wrote the script and will produce through his T-Street label alongside producing partner Ram Bergman.
Details of the plot are unknown. latest pic, Glass Onions: A Knives Mystery, bowed in 2022, with Craig returning as Blanc. The film premiered on Netflix after the streamer secured a record $450 million deal for the two sequels, the third in the series.

the Take out the knives The series is no stranger to delivering sets packed with star power, and this installment is no different. Production is scheduled to begin next month, and Netflix plans to release it sometime in 2025.

As for Renner, this project marks his first feature film project signed on following his amazing recovery from a near-fatal snowfall accident in early 2023. After a number of surgeries and countless hours of rehabilitation and physical therapy, he will be back. To work again. His starring role in the hit Paramount+ series, mayor of Kingstown, The third season is scheduled to premiere this weekend.
